Such a pathetic ending.

What was that. Ek Daam sy Nisha ko meenu nazar aney lagi and she got mental within few minutes. Agar aisa kuch dekhna tha toh at least thoda lamba dekhty background dekhaty ek daam sy pagal hogai accident hogiya aur phir jail main beithi hai. Jisey marna chaiye tha wo marri nhi. Aur Asfi beta ab pachtaney sy Kya faida. No doubt i want him to get his due punishment but my heart goes to that little child na uski maa ny usski parwa ki naa baap ny.

Ahmer and Ereej are happy in their life.

omg is this show that bad...i was planning to binge watch it

What exactly happened to nisha?? Did she just get burnt or she got mental aswell??

And where is she living??

The last episode was a let down for sure. Part of what I wanted happened to Nisha, which is to live a miserable life. She challenged fate repeatedly with an arrogance and fate gave it back to her😳Aisa hi hota haina sooner or later? She started hallucinating about Meenu, which is fine, especially since she is very stressed. But why would Meenu's spirit ask her not to mess with Ahmer, rather than haunt her about the plight Nisha put her in? I hope they are not hinting at Meenu the ghost taking revenge on Nisha. It wasn't clear whether she was in her senses or not, but my wish is that Nisha suffers a miserable life, no beauty, no money, incapacitated, no near and dear, but in full senses😈. It seems like she is living in some kind of a home? mental asylum or some kind of a homeless shelter? I hope it is the latter🤔

I am not happy with fate of Asfi though👎🏼. The writer made him a full victim😡😡 He didn't suffer at all. He ruined Meenu, drove her to death😭. Next, her father ko barbaad kar liya, by snatching the child ( both daughter and grandson )from him and deprived him of the purpose of living, lead him to his death from depression and lack of purpose. Divested off all responsibility of Nisha, the mentally deranged person. He didn't even try to see if there is anything he could do to get her some help when she clearly was decompensating.

If we are to believe he is so gung-ho about Meenu, then the honest thing to do would have been to repent, and try to take over some of Meenu's responsibilities. Ask forgiveness from Meenu's mom, look after her well-being at least peripherally as she is left with no immediate family. He didn't even go to see her when she was left alone in this world, while throwing himself a pity party. He then suddenly remembered that he should also die if Meenu died, from a God forsaken promise😡. What about all the other promises and waadas he must have made with the wedding? Convenience se yaad aagaye and bhool bhi jaayein? Now, once again dumped his child to be an orphan. What a coward and an irresponsible person? 💔How is that justified?😒Who has he done right by? Not one person🤢

I think you are right. Asfi is already being hugged and consoled by Kinza. Excuses are already being offered for his horrific behavior : NISHA IS PURE EVIL, as if Asfi is a 2 year old who got distracted by a dancing doll😡😡 This is what irritates me the most. He is not even thinking about how monstrous he was with Meenu. He is only made to compare and contrast Meenu with Nisha, not introspect his actions towards Meenu or her parents. He is repenting picking Nisha but not for what he has done and divested off his responsibilities.

As far is Nisha goes, I have no expectations of her suffering. Her suffering will only come from facing her own demons, but no other external sources. She is not affected by any family tragedies. Meenu's horrific death didn't even touch her. She is a little sad with her father's passing. But, that is it. She is using that as an opportunity. In my view, her suffering will be that she will never find an inner peace or sukoon, as she needs to move on to conquer another frontier. She will never be able to settle down into a cocoon. But the way this show is going, Asfi might kill her as his ego would take a beating from him being the one who is thrown away for greener pastures💔

Husband and I watched a show called " mere humdum mere dost" on youtube, Charu. It is THE best show 👏I have watched. I promised Nina to write a review, but time and sukoon are not on my side😳. I don't want to write a half hearted review on such a phenomenal show. If you haven't watched it, you should try it out. When I heard the concept, I said, I will never approve of it, but here I am cheering for the couple towards the end 👍🏼

Pandemic life is stressful ..there are few relaxful days ...ups and downs..people around me falling sick, some recovering some not. I am hopeful it will end soon . Hopefully next summers will be more normal. Till that time we r being extra cautious like the last 1 yr.

Jalan derailed for me the moment meenu died. See now they killed everyone and made nisha mental. As a show it always disappointed but we were glued in a hope to see nisha and asfi suffering . It never happened . Those who would see her condition and feel justice was served r all dead. I see no point in the story. Bakwas all over.

What took ahmer so long to accept areej ? Chalo at least they didnt die 🤣

👏brilliant. I completely agree with you said about asfi. I also thought he should have asked forgiveness from meenus mom for his behaviour. How he treated the whole family, that would have been better than him just dropping dead. He only had a few cig’s If that was the idea behind showing him smoking🤔

I think killing Asfi was an afterthought, because people were objecting that asfi shouldn’t get away with it. I don’t see any purpose in that. He could have lived and be an amazing father to his son and make up for all his wrong doings.

One thing was good that they didn’t show an overnight change in Nisha and she stayed true to herself till the end. She didn’t become a saint and everyone forgives her in the end. I don’t think she lost her mind, it looked like she was in a shelter home.

I think Nisha was losing her sanity bit by bit in the last couple of episodes..and Ahmer's rejection was the final blow..so I personally thought her hallucinating Meenu wasnt out of the blow..she was trying the same tricks with Ahmer as she did with Asfi, only this time, it all failed in one shot and Nisha was never open to failing at anything.

I did expect something like a Gupt happening where Ahmer stops Nisha from chasing and murdering Areej and her meeting with an accident in the process though, where Misha's spirit makes her car turn or something like Shantipriya from OSO lol🤪

Ok the ghastly image of her in the end - karma was served, I had goosebumps when the last episode teaser was shown, but in the actual episode I dint feel anything - just blank.

NOW ASFI! I swear I hated the end as much. Apa saying that now Asfi and Misha are reunited in heaven was such bakwaas, much wow, like it was some eternal lovestory or something. Anyway, poor Hadi - most ignored character of this show, except Sabra and Apa, nobody really seemed to care about him. I dont think they changed the ending, there is a clip of Apa clinging on to Asfi's dead body in OST now that i recollect..so it was always supposed to be this.

Honestly I did enjoy Jalan a lot, might sound like im a horrible person lol..it was so toxic and dark, but it wasnt just a saali behnoi affair, but about one deranged pyscho person ruining so many lives for the sake of her own greed and she did meet with a ghastly end..

Having said that - I value shows like Pyaar ke sadqay and Sabaat even more after watching this lol.

I enjoyed reading your reviews throghout this drama . I am glad I didn't watch it . I like Minal and Emmad, and I didn't want to see them in negative roles.😳

But those Gupt and OSO endings cracked me up. 🤣 It would've been funny to watch such endings in a Pakistani drama though .😃 I watched the last scenes of Jalan and was confused. What exactly happened to Minal?😕

Thank you🤗 I think Minal will walk away as a breakout star of the year - what a sensational performance and she carried this show on her shoulder through and through. I liked her since Sun Yaara haha, where she plays this cute natkhat saali..and honestly this role - was really really tough and she did absolutely great playing out and out negative role.

So Nisha got burnt in the car accident and I think she is in a shelter home for homeless, she has a disfigured face because of severe burns. I dont think she has lost her senses or gone mad, but just in an extremely bad condition physically and will spend the rest of her life, alone and lifeless in this awful state. Karma was served to her, since she has been responsible for Misha burning herself, her father's death, Ahmer's mother's death and eventually sfand as well.
