Confused about the relationships

So badki-didi is the second wife of the man in the wheelchair.

And Yug referred to the man in the wheelchair as 'dad'. So is Yug's mom the first wife ?

And per all indications Kahaani is the long lost daughter of the man in the wheelchair ?!

Obviously Yug and Kahaani cant be siblings so what am I missing ? What is the relationship between Yug and Badki-didi ?

And whose house is that ? Yug or badki-didi's ? Do they all live together ?

I think the man in the wheelchair is Kahani's father ( as mentioned already in an episode where Iravati says apki bachi bhi mar gayi)

Yug's father and Kahani's father were friends because in the first episode it was mentioned.

Possibly, yug and family is living in Badki didi's house because yug's bhabhi is somehow related to Badki didi. And Yug's fiance and bhabhi are sisters.

I do agree it's a bit confusing. Hopefully it will be clearer in future episodes

Kahani’s (aka Chuchum) father is the man in the wheelchair. Obviously Yug and Kahani’s father survived the car crash (as did Kahani). However, it appears that somehow Kahani ended up being orphaned. Whether she was not found at the crash site or if it was done on purpose by Baki Didi is yet to be discovered.

I believe Yug’s dad is also alive, just not living with them. His mom still wears sindoor and there was some mention between Yug and his mother that his father is alive, however Yug says for him, his father is dead. His hatred of “dancers” apparently stems from his father having an affair with one. This is also why he despises Chumchum. His brother seems to be following in his father’s footsteps the way he hellbent on getting Chumchum for himself.

Asfor Bedki Didi, sheis Yug’s future mother-in-law and his bhabi’s mom (his Bhabi and his fiancé are sisters).

I wonder if perhaps Yug and his father were perhaps just collateral damage in the crash or if Bedki Didi had some grievances with them and wanted to get rid of them as well.

Hope that clears some relationships up. It was very confusing for me as well but piecing the episodes together, that is what I have deduced :-)

Yug's dad is alive and doesn't live with the family.... His dad probably had an affair with an item dancer 15years ago for which he loathes Kahani/Chamcham. His brother lusts for Kahani and this maybe the reason Yug's misunderstanding about Chamcham aggravates in the upcoming episodes.

It's quite confusing specially because of the age difference. Badi didi looks more like Yug's bhabhi and fiance's sister.

Yeah actually the actress playing Iravati(Badki Didi) looks a bit younger.
