In Alif and Yeh Dil Mera lead females didn't get married .😃

I love watching romantic dramas, so I want female leads to find love and get married.😳 In Dulhan Amal got married on pprs only. Let's see if she'll reconsile with her husband in the end.🤓

Yes. Marriage is sunnah. And it is preferable, specially for women in our society. Coz ppl think that women need men to protect them. Although sometimes wives become topic of domestic violence .😒

You pointed to an important issue which is distance marriage. I feel it is like having a husband and yet not having a normal married life.😆 I am enjoying freedom too because I live in the same situation.. but it is very tough to deal with kids, specially when they grow up.😔Responsibility becomes bigger. And women age fast when their husbands aren't around them.😒

I find the last paragraph. How can't women survive if not married , and how are they more healthy! I know many unmarried women here in Aden. And they are fine. 😃 mashaAllah , they live for themselves, and feel free to do whatever they want. Aden is a big city. If this happens in my hometown, a woman won't survive as you said. Ppl there have old way of thinking. And unmarried women are looked down at.🥺

I meant Married women .According to science, married women are 28% less likely to die from heart disease than unmarried women(I wonder how marriage can save women from heart attack and other heart diseases😒

I don't like it when someone says to me, "Oh girl, how can you be happy without your husband?" Your husband is not living with you, he is enjoying his life without you. You should go to Qatar.According to our society, a married girl who does not live with her husband has no right to be happy in life. My husband wants to live in Turkey and buy a house for us in Turkey. Living with small children in a big city is not an easy task, especially when your parents and relatives do not live with you. There are many Pakistani actresses who have never been married and are independent. I know a woman who is divorced and lives alone in such a big house. She works for a big company and earns a lot of money for herself. Her parents died of the corona virus. Now, she wants to get married again.Turkey is a modern Country, but it is still not safe for a woman to live here alone.

And many women end up getting married to old , unworthy , or married men to silent toungues . 😔 It is high time, women start supporting eachother, and stop interfering in other women's lives. Coz women are half the society but they are more than half of the problem.

Its disgusting how women judge other women. Aunties here are like oh yeh 30 ki hogayi hai why isnt she still married? Iski shadi ko itne saal hogaye why doesnt she have a kid? etc etc

@red. Now I've got it.😃

I think you are ok with living alone, coz you are still young , and aren't used to live with your husband. 😊 I think couples become more attached to eachother with they stay togather for a long time . 😃

"Man is by nature a social being". For this we need to be with someone. Parents and siblings don't stay with us forever, so marriage and having kids is a need. There are other options, some of them are against our religion.

But if a woman is happy living alone..doing many things which keep her busy, it is her right to do so. In my hometown many women got divorced, or widowed ..some of them didn't have children. They had to stay with relatives untill they died. I know them personally. And I remember they were always smiling, keep praying, and socializing with others.. I never saw them regretfull. After all it depends on the way you look at your self.. and how usefull you feel helping others, or doing things which you enjoy. 😃

My aunt used to breach me when I was single. She taunted me, and kept saying that I am hungry for money , that's why I am working. And didn't get married. 😒 I used to tease her about her failed marriage.😆 But she thought herself luckier that at least got married😲. As if it was a big deal.🤔 She was the happiest when I finally settled down. 😃

You see , some of those judging aunties aren't their selves happy , that's why they keep bullying others. 😔

What I have noticed is that the women from elite parts of the society are much more desperate to get married while the ones from middle class wanna work out and are still treated like a burden.

Ironically most Pakistani A Listers are married before 30 and some have kids too. Like Mahira Khan, Ayeza Khan, Hira Mani, Sajal Aly, Urwa Hocans.

Honestly I love how these women balance their work and professional life so well and are still getting lead roles. In India, actresses don't get married until their career slows down coz they feel that early marriage will ruin their chances as a leading actress. Most of them are in love, but chose to wait and most times that even leads to breakups. The scenario across the border is much different.

I truly feel the Pakistani Entertainment Industry should showcase how strong these women are, they have live examples of actresses who are handling everything and working full time as leading actresses. They should really bring forward this side instead of showing the "women are burdens etc" side. It would help impact society positively too.

You see, women see marriage as a big accomplishment. Even if the marriage fails they dont care because they accomplished what they wanted. Why do you think so many divorced women dont get remarried? They are satisfied that at least they accomplished a marriage and had kids. Thats the aim of life for most women.😆

🤣 I think for uneducated women at least.

My cousin feels proud that she had all her 4 daughters married at the age of 14.. acc to her this is a proof that they are the most sought after girls in the family.😆

I think many divorcees dread getting married again because of the society too. Coz it says that a woman has to live for her children now. She had been married once and it is enough for her.😳 same goes with widows.😔

It is sad that even educated ppl aren't able to break up from these norms. 😒 A woman has the right to live her life the way she wants. 😊
