@Bold- That is called supporting and having a shouting match was not necessary and no one was clipping her wings.

@Blue- It was just bad of words and not blaming Sai. Sai has bad choice of words all the time but she could give the same courtesy to anyone else. Another major blunder she made was calling Viraat dishonest and bad police officer, which he clearly is not. Poor Choice of words right Sai but she is the only one allowed to have it.

I can not believe that I am agreeing with Pakhi but It was not about blaming or figuring out who is right or wrong. It was simply about sharing Viraat's pain. Even after knowing the truth, Sai made it all about herself.

@Red- Here is hoping that she does not make the situation worse. I had expected her to understand Viraat's POV a bit but after today's episode, I have my doubts.

I know, Sai went little overboard, but I think, I will also be in same state of mind when my Husband is blaming me for his Vaada, his marriage decision and the people who hate you the most in the household, are trying to tell you what rules to follow!

I understand Sai but according to virat his family just wanted to know where she is going so she misbehaved with his family on a small matter. He is already upset about last night so he got angry on sai and didn't support her. He has already told that his family means a lot to him so he reacted that way. I think both of them had their reasons for their reaction and after sai meets his boss they will clear all this mess.

I am not easily offended. Don't worry. You are entitled to your opinion. I am just trying to show another perspective. I agree that has she told everyone they would not let her go. She could have easily made an excuse as Viraat said no would stop her. Bhavani would have made a big deal but Viraat had already supported her. Instead, her answer was "This is a house and not a jail."

I am 30 years old and my mom and my MIL still ask me and my husband where we are going every time we leave the house and I have a four-year-old son. That is a very normal thing to do. This is a completely new city for her, what if something happens.?

@Bold- I know she will take care of the situation in her way. Fingers crossed.

@bold Okay, I am gonna disagree here. She stayed quiet the entire time when Virat was telling what happened at work. Then he went on and pinned the blame on Sai right in front of her face to which Sai reminded him that "I have come to you and pleaded you to refuse the marriage proposal." Moreover, Pakhi was claiming that Virat was forced into this marriage. She was defending the false accusation put against her and standing up for her self-respect. As Sai said, he could have come in and shared his problems with her, but before that he shared with Pakhi. Sai may be hot-headed, but she is understanding. If he had told her what happened, she would have listened. Even though Sai heard half the convo on the phone, she did not react badly. She just offered him food, but the fault was that she kept on telling him to eat the food. How can a person know of another person's trouble if they don't tell? As she mentioned, he keeps his problems in his heart and doesn't share. She got mad when he unintentionally threw the food and Pakhi barged in. YES, he has the right to get angry, and I will give him the benefit of doubt that he just spewed those words out of his frustration and Pakhi's instigations.

@red She meant it in terms of him putting the blame on Sai. He did not mention to his family or Pakhi that she had come to him and asked him to leave GC and use his power to back away from the marriage. He told only half-truth and hid the other half the story to which Pakhi thinks he was forced into getting married. As a matter of fact, he didn't have an answer when Sai brought those up. From the look in Pakhi's eyes, she didn't know this either.

@green if she had told them then they would not have let her go. Plus she could not tell them either way, cuz if she did then they would have known about Virat's situation. From her character, we know that she will not tell anyone about Virat's affair until he himself doesn't tell it to his family. Yes, I understand that it is normal to tell your family where you are going, but the situation here is different. I would say everyone was right in their place on this one except for the taunts that Sonali, Pakhi, Ninaad, and TMK gave her. I believe the situation would not have escalated if they also spoke to her genuinely and not in a demeaning manner. In fact, she was gonna say something to Sivani, but Pakhi cut her off and taunted her. She essentially questioned her character by the way she said, "maybe she is going to meet someone she knows and can't tell about it." We all know what she had tried to imply there.

We never know how they would have reacted. Afterall it was about Virat's career, so Kaku wouldn't oppose that I guess.

In any case I think Sai could have handled it in a better way than creating so much drama. She could have made up something for the time being or said what she told a bit more calmly and convincingly. Any family would have reacted the same way they all reacted if she just says I have some work

Sai needs to calm down. But according to me she is right if she would tell others then no one gonna help her to go out.

the girl has been sole child hence she often fails how to behave in a joint family. Pampered by her father, but practical and principled. Yes she is blunt, but she is no stone hearted person.

Now high class chavans, right from moment she entered it was shower of taunts for her. Only support was husband and MIL. But now husband also accusers her for destroying his life . And what you expect from family who fight for packet of oats are they really rich class or below poverty line. Men don't go anywhere for job instead join home politics.

Its best Sai, leaves this mad house and focus to achieve her dream. Her father would have made some savings, rest take education loan and be independent.
