I think they are trying to show the contrast, and the negativity, because with P's life, it is easy to forget about the Molkki thing, as most of her problems have to do with Shakshi and not because a) she is a Molki dulhan or b) because she got married into an abusive family. No matter the circumstances behind the wedding, she is more or less happy.

Yeah there are showing the dark side of of Molkki dulhan tradition here ...the contrast between Purvi and Sudha

The story has been presented in a very nice way ... it’s balanced by the positivity of the show ..,not like other colour show where it’s all negative entirely .
