Teri Tau is pretty self-explanatory, the esi ki tesi part is kind of like...it is a mix between Jahannum main jae woh and nobody cares about xyz, usually spoken with annoyance. A Google search should give you more meanings and the equivalent English phrases, I am not sure I am allowed to use the words involved.

Yes, that is really nice to see. I love how Purvi has her vulnerabilities and how she cried herself to sleep and then with Sudha she was again crying about it, but she is also strong enough to look for a way to leave this situation, and how she didn't bend to her fate and accept it. It is a good balance and is quite refreshing to see.

Yeah, their families are in opposite ends of the spectrum. Both will do anything for their families though, V still needs to be tricked into it at times, but P will usually do it unprompted (there are times though, like Sudha's wedding when she didn't want to go there but went so that her Baba does not hit her mother and they get to eat good food for a change).
