LOL yes, and guess which show I was watching before Gulaal? 😆.....LTL😆....that's another good one but in a different mould. Gulaal is definitely the most superior script-wise but LTL has a solid arc for its protagonists (Dutta-Nakusha) and some great acting.

Arre main bhi yehi boli but sorf drive nahi let her enjoy the whole 280 something episodes and enjoy . Yeh bhi toh dekhe babbi ka rona thoda😆 isko summarize kar do LTL i would love for her to see that too. Yes gulaal was superior but still only LTL is the other one that comes.close in terms of angst and logic for the way Dutta was baaki lulz ki kami toh hai nahi 😆 chaskar suds and apni tai😆

The haunting kind of music right at the beginning suited so perfectly to the scene, ( that scene was goosebump inducing the way it was shot Gulaal telling Kesar now I think tou should know what happened🥺) All the musical bits were so insync with the mood of the scenes, the uplifting bits, the intense bits. You captured her subtle realizations so beautifully here. I loved the bit where she slides down hearing about Kesars accident .

This is on "Aur Ho".....another song that I felt suited Kesar more than the original movie picturization😆

I remembered belatedly again that the song Piyu Mhaari was sung by Shahid Maalya....the guy who later got a break singing in movies in songs like "Rabba" from Mausam.

I had a whole phase of vidding Mausam songs on GK😆

LTL is Laagi Tujhse Lagan....it was essentially written like a fable and the journey of this girl Nakusha whose beauty is her curse because she's born poor. What happens when she meets Dutta who is essentially like the overlord/Don of a fictional town called Patilwadi and how they have this whole journey of falling in love forms the basis of the story. It's kind of hard to explain and I'd say it's worth experiencing.

With LTL though, you need more patience😆.....it has more high drama....but if you stick with it, you are rewarded with some amazingly poignant scenes and arcs. It has a bit of retro movies ka filmy feel too with larger than life villains and actions sequences😆.

Btw fun fact for you.....apna Bunty from EDKV2 is a child artist in LTL....he played the FL's little brother Sethji😆

It is about the external and internal beauty as in which beauty matters it is about this extremely beautiful girl who has to apply soot to her face and live like that hide her beauty from.the world to simply live in the society and how Dutta Bhau the larger than life local don comes into her life and mind you he isn't your typical don he has a lot of layers and baggage and OMG mishap raheja as Dutta is iconic for way too many reasons baaki I will leave it to and to give you plot better and synopsis caz I am not that great with it and I don't want you to be put off by my sadi hui explanation but that is just the bestest show too at par with gulaal for me when it comes to layering of characters the storytelling and the scale too. Also how often you see a girl with soot on her from head to toe all around.isme apne baby Jay takkar aka bunty bhi hai😆

I think I have seen promos of the show when it aired. It sounds interesting from the synopsis and the way you have described the show will definitely give it a try:)

I would say if you watch from around episode 25 the whole mammal morey se bhagna and Dutta ki entry 8t is good enough uske pehle nakku ki bechargi was a bit dragged humare liye toh show started thr day Dutta bhai entered and if you watch the 3, 4 episodes before you get enough context on why baabi the mother applies soot on nakku and why her beauty is her curse

And then we stopped the day Dutta left and was replaced and Utne mainnhi Full story and journey hainone doesn't feel ke kuch reh gaya uske baad na humne mud ke dekha na hi it matters. Just giving you some Info so if you plan to watch aage Don't blame us ke mujhe kya kachra dekhna pada😆 utna hi matter karta hai and Dutta nakku and baaji forver sweethearts❤️ again a show where even tai the villain is of epic level and meri toh fav hai bhai kala tai ashka Gorardia was at her finest. A villain I wholeheartedly enjoyed watching and still do . Matlab kitna kam hota hai ke one cheers and enjoys vamps too.

Edit: if you want something light toh go for IB or otherwise go for LTL caz IB main bohat kuch will test your patience just saying and everything else is pretty much irrelevant and not worth talking about other than shivika 😆

Haha sorry for the short mix....but this is all I figured would fit the song toh itna hi banaya.....I made it especially for the instrumental haunting bits of the HDDCS song....glad you liked it! This is among my favs of the ones I made on them :)
