My father built our ancestral home in our village rather than town - because he sausage what would be the difference in going from UK to bdesh if all you're going to do is be holed up in a house alone.
In village it's open and there's a stream ofor guests literally from dusk to dawn - which we won't get in UK as everyone is busy with their own lives.

Yes now everyone is busy with their own life. Also no one has that patience to look after all kids in vacation time. The days we enjoyed are golden.
Yes. I never felt that warmth at my mamaβs place who lives in the same city as us when nani n masi used to visit from Mumbai. Same people gathered but utna maza nahi aata tha jitna nani ke wahaan Mumbai mein aata tha.
