Yes. Those were the days. Now my nani is no more n that house is empty. Just my masi living alone . She is Learning to live alone.

True our kids might never feel that but its same everywhere now. Whether you live in India or US. Everyone is busy with their lives no gatherings n nothing.
If you go to India every year its like same as summer vacations.

Agreed this reminds me of when we used to go to my naani’s house n we all cousins gather there. Mom’s cousin sis n her kids n me n bro. The house was small yet the love the warmth the laughter n joy we shared is irreplaceable.

My eldest brother has 2 nephews who are older than me.

My eldest sister has 3 (nephew and nieces) who are older than me.

I was born to my mum when she was around 46.

I'm 9year younger than my 3rd brother.

I grew up with nieces and nephew's and I really miss that with my kids too as my siblings and their married children - we all live on sane street - there's around 8 of us

Yes now everyone is busy with their own life. Also no one has that patience to look after all kids in vacation time. The days we enjoyed are golden.
