About gulaal I forgot to mention I loved that they used mansi ka singing talent a bit too in that friends tra k where they all coerce her to sing and she sings that dholida song. 😆 ab toh mansi is full time singer and sings with bhumitrivedi and all but I remember her as a singer from that celebrity singing show that I only watched for her she was the best out of all there

Even after she finds out about her husband's infidelity, I found it refreshing to see the way she was still shown going to work and handling questions from her employees....yeah she was kinda distracted cuz of the shock of what she learnt but they didn't show her totally falling apart itna ki she can't even work.....matlab they kept some credibility for why she's a successful businesswoman who's so focused even in the face of a personal tragedy.

Sarang ne apne roommates ko Mathura ke pede and achaar se pataa liya😆.....what a secular house he's found to live in....sab religions ka representation ho gaya hai😆. And Alia ka name search kar ke DDS ki job ad bhi mil gayi....lol he's landed up at DDS to interview.

Precap is Alia getting drunk and then bumping into Sarang again.....lol shirt hi phaad di bechaare ki....thoda OTT ho gaya.

But word on what you said about the feel of listening to a radio show when Sarang narrates his poetry.....let's see if it lasts beyond 2 weeks😆

Yet to watch todays episode. Rofl at 2 weeks thing🤣 But in an interview they mentioned they have shot quiet a lot of episodes so maybe we will get a month of good episodes😆 I am trying to imagine how Alia- Saarang interactions will be? 😆 He is all heart and she is all mind 😆he is all about sach bolna, but Alias marketing strategy is too sell jhootey emotions😆

I did that search in first week only to see who writer was, Prakash Kapadia😆. But it is sad Gulaal is not mentioned in his biography 🥺

Its just so saddening ke this show did not get the kind of appreciation it deserves🥺 Its hard to find anything related to Gulaal.

Uday sir ki writing hum nahi samajh payenge its very deep, doob jayenge hum😆

When I get a chance I will just look up on Mansi. I saw the last Gujju movie she was in, its on Amazon.
Hope she acts more in shows or movies:(

Hahah IB is full on troll.self troll uska mood ek dum alag hai yet SHivika have enough to keep you entertained they have such a range too aur ek hi scene main itna range hota hai inke they make you laugh cry feel every bit too but in a different way totally opposite to gulaal . Gulaal is serious wale feels thoughtful intense wale shivika had much more lighter vibe to them even unke bade se bada mudda is light enough in comparison😆

LOL yes, I think one of the DOPs or someone was also some SLB ka associate....that is why the initial epis in the desert have a very grand feel in terms of cinematography as well. We used to be so proud of this show in the forum.

But aajkal ki social media pe raised junta has no idea this show existed....lol only the Ekta shows from the pre Hotstar days are remembered as famous.....Gulaal is literally like this cult hit that only the people who managed to discover it value. Since the show isn't available in good quality anywhere, hardly any of the contemporary audience will get to it.

Aajkal ke bacchon ko 1-2 token "progressive" scenes waale shows hi "epic" lagte hain....utne mein hi aise trophies chadhaa dete hain jaisa ki pata nahin kya ho.....the bar is subterranean low aajkal😆

I doubt Manasi will do TV ever again given how TRASH it has become😆.....she seems to be very strong and clear headed about the kind of content she wants to be associated with.

I followed her interviews for a few years after Gulaal and she got into doing a lot of ads and then some I think a South ki movie also.....she used to get fan comments still remembering her for Gulaal and she always remembers the show fondly in her body of work but I think she's moved on from all this now. Bas once in a while cameos hi karti hai movies mein....I think I last saw her in that Uri movie😆

Gujju movies toh I can't watch cuz language barrier😆....but yeah she's a very good singer so I don't doubt she's made a name for herself there....the few scenes they showed her humming in Gulaal were lovely.
