Why is time slot a problem all of a sudden? 😂 It’s not something we should spent hours fussing over lol. Minal has a huge fan following (even more than Zahid) and even she has a show at 7. 7 P.M. shows have done wonders in the past. And who cares whether SH or Amma reviews it or not? They not reviewing doesn’t take away or add to a show’s credibility. There are a lot of good shows with the highest IMDB score that they haven’t reviewed and yet those shows have been seen by a much wider audience. Munafiq drama bhool gaey? MPTH jitna rage tha us ka. It’s absurd to say that if a big name does a 7 or 9 P.M. show they are not in-demand anymore. I doubt Zahid’s impact shall ever be diluted. Especially after doing Ishq Zahe Naseeb. That show bagged him a LUX nomination. Which means critics love him already. A non-prime show didn’t even dull Neelam Munir’s appeal lol. Trust me, time slot doesn’t matter. What matters is the storyline. Direction. Acting. The characters. They should be believable. I’ve even seen actors with small roles develop an interesting and memorable character around a minimal framework. Like a famous actor appearing briefly in a drama and yet making that minor role shine. Aur yeh tu minor role bhi nahi hai. The teasers pretty much tells us how Murad is the kind of character that keeps you hooked to your TV. It’s better that ZA plays such roles in a non-prime show than playing worst and most poorly written characters on prime slot. MNJ and MTA bhi tu prime shows hain. Where did that take him? Yes, MTA gets 4M views but critics hate that show. People watch it because it’s so cheesy it’s funny. They probably watch it as a guilty pleasure. Who cares about numbers if it’s a paradoxically unrealistic and trashy show? Even Zahid himself has disowned it lol. So dramay ko 8 P.M. ka slot denay say us ki qismat ka faisla nahi ho jaata. It’s all about content. Which depends on the makers. And I love the makers of this show tbh. It’s a strong production house. They have given us Akbari Asghari. They have given us Kuch Pyar Ka Pagalpan. They have given us Mann Mayal. They have given us Alif. So I have a strong faith in them. Time doesn’t matter as long as you’ve produced something cumulative where story construction, dramatic tension, intelligence, poignancy, thoughtfulness and believability leave a mark. Which I hope is also the case with this show. Viewers bhi aa jayain gay InshaAllah if it’s as good as the teasers proclaim it to be. Trp aunties aur Youtube army yeh nahi dekhti k show kitnay bajay lagta hai. The former will watch it if it has enough spice. The latter will watch it if the content is strong enough.
