Part 2 B

"Keep calm" Vansh chanted repeatedly although his eyes burned in fury as he watched Sahil pull out a small gift from his jacket leaving Riddhma smile in delight.

Vansh knew for a fact that Riddhma loved gifts and he also knew that she preferred chocolates or flowers over diamonds and fancy designer wear. She often told him that it was the thought that counts which was why Vansh was shocked to see Sahil gift Riddhma a small box of chocolates.

Damn he made the right move.

He squinted his eyes for a better look and to his horror he realized that it was Riddhma's favourite kind as well.

"It could be a coincidence" he muttered annoyed.

It was Vansh that was suppose to know all Riddhma's favorites not this stupid guy who was in a competition to take over Simon Cowell's "my teeth shine bright like a diamond" contest.

"Let me go join them, its not going to harm anybody. I'll act civil" Vansh convinced himself.

*Vansh P.O.V*

"Hi, guys mind if I join" I asked with a fake smile.

"Yeah sure" Sahil replied signaling Riddhma at the spot next to him.

HOW.DARE.HE.

Before Riddhma could react I sat in the center squished in-between the girl I love and the man I wanted dead.

Sahil cleared his throat uncomfortably not understanding how to react at what he thought was a confusion that occurred while Riddhma was busy enjoying the chocolates on her lap.

Before I could initiate a conversation Sahil inquired about the washroom and left to take care of that.

"Hey.." I prompted.

"Hey... mmmm Oh my God Vivaan this is so good you need to try this. Ishani was right Sahil is probably the guy I've been waiting for he even knows what chocolate I like" Riddhma praised.

"I'm sure Ishani told it to him so your little pea brain would be impressed" I rolled my eyes.

"Haww... you're mean but you know what Sahil is nicer than you"

"You trust anyone"

"What's not to trust about him? He's Ishani's friend, he's handsome wait no he's pretty much perfect in the looks department...."

"And me?" I asked in a low tone almost as a reflex.

"What about you?"

"What do you think about me?"

"That you're a self centered, obnoxious product of nature fluent in flirting oh wait and must I add someone that hates me"

"You think I hate you?"

"I don't think silly. I know you do. It's ok Vivaan I won't feel offended. Ok let that go can you please try this chocolate before I swallow is as a whole. Don't fight with me when it's over" Riddhma offered the box.

She thinks I hate her? Great this is the last thing I needed to find out right now.

"The flavor I want isn't in here." I accused

"I'm sorry, you should've taken when I offered it to you first nuh"

"It's ok I can still have it" I answered.

"How?" Riddhma asked her eyes shining in curiosity

"Like this"

I pulled her on to my lap and traced the chocolate on the side of her lips using my index finger. I watched as her reaction change her eyes moved from a soft brown to a darker hue. The air felt intense and at that moment in one swift motion I licked off the chocolate from the side of her mouth.

"Yeah you were right it's really good" I formed my sentence pretending that nothing happened between us.

"I told you" Riddhma replied equally unaffected.

Why was she unaffected?

Did I no longer evoke any sense of feeling out of her?

Was I being replaced?

"Sahil" Riddhma smiled waving at the walking broomstick who in an unpopular opinion was believed to look good.

"Ridhu, I'm sorry lovie bhai called he needed me to help him out. Don't worry though I'll drop you a message as you get home and let's decide about a proper date, maybe I could drive you someplace nice" the circus clown winked.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE ESCORT HIM TO THE GATE BEFORE I KICK HIM TO THE MOON?

Before I could resort to any form of violence Sahil decided to leave MY house and MY wife thankfully.

Good riddance. Honestly though if he thinks My Riddhma is about go hang out with him again he needed a reality check.

*Riddhma P.O.V*

I changed into a more comfortable dress for the night as my mind replayed the chocolate incident in an infinite loop. How I managed to keep in control and reply unaffected is something I can't seem to comprehend.

I giggled as I recalled Vansh's face dropping down as he realized I was back to normal showing the least it of interest to what had occurred.

"Ridhuuuu....... mere jaannnnn.... are you planning on building a life and family inside can you come out fast? " Vansh whined.

"Come in, the door isn't locked" I answered back.

I mean if he can play the try and resist me game it's only fair I now play my turn.

I pretended to text Sahil as Vansh walked in.

"Baby..." I heard Vansh trying to get my attention while I continued to pretend as if I wasn't aware.

"What's so interesting in that phone of yours?" Vansh tried to peek.

"Stop peeping its private" I blushed.

Where do I sign up for my Oscars? Honestly just post it to me.

*3rd Person P.O.V*

This was getting out of hand and Vansh wasn't able to keep up with this play anymore.

"Sweetheart" he whispered getting closer to Riddhma his hands tracing her arms and slowly moving towards her waist and his breath fanning over her face.

"Stop this" he continued as he carried her and placed her on the counter top every inch of their body almost touching.

"Stop what?" Riddhma asked innocenently

"This game with Sahil. You're mine"

"What if I say it's too late and I've already lost my heart for someone"

"I don't think that's possible"

"Vivaan stop this was not in the contract"

"We both know we want this"

"Vivaan no, this isn't right"

"Vansh, say Vansh not Vivaan"

"You're not Vansh"

"Sweetheart we both know that you know that I am Vansh"

"How did you..."

"Ishani"

"She played me"

"Oh no darling she didn't I am Vansh Raisinghania I have my ways of getting things done"

"Let me go Vansh"

"What if I don't want to"

"Sahi...."

That was it, Vansh pulled Riddhma into a kiss they poured it all into it pain, anger, fear, jealousy, love. They kissed every part they could reach until they felt the fire in them extinguished instead it only kept reigniting more stronger as the second passed.

Somewhere in the act they cried tears of joy and the air filled with repeated confessions.
