Once a puppet, always a puppet. Once a Pappu, always a Pappu Singer. These two sentences define what Rahul's personality and what he does on the show.
Aly's Puppet#1 suggested to Puppet#2: Talk to Nikki and told her you would save her in nomination. Surprising it was brilliant idea. Nikki would have agreed as she was getting something out of it. Nikki had only Kavita on her side, so she was walking on slipper slope.
But, Puppet#2 ran to his puppet master, and puppet master suggested against Puppet#1's suggestion as that was against Master's benefit. Master wanted Rahul to be captain to get favor from him, so he did not want favor going to Nikki.
Puppet#2, as being a Pappu, listened to his master. And got captaincy task cancelled. And lost an opportunity of becoming captain and saved from nomination next week. In this whole episode, only one person lost and than Puppet#2 aka Pappu Singer aka Rahul Krishna Vaidya.
He could not become captain because he follows other, he does not have any sense of game. He is good for PIG act (Poking, Interfering and Guttermouhing) only.
