shallow relationship

makers should be applauded for successfully showing how shallow and superficial preeran relationship is inspite of high dose of romantic lollipops.

i know other characters in the show keep saying they love eachother but family members cant make a couple fall in love when they simply arent.

makers have established that they are two people who are attracted to eachother and they are ex-friends.

karan has been shown to be a bad husband but preeta is a very dutiful wife who is willing to do anything to make her marriage work. but love? where is love? 🧐

despite spending a lot of time together and getting married twice they couldnt fall in love so how would they now when karan is so indifferent towards preeta.

now i realize why are makers dragging this phase and they are not bringing misunderstandings back. they want to show it to the audience how shallow preeran relationship is when they are apparently living like a normal couple without hating on eachother.

Karan and Preeta have shared a lot of screen space together in Kundali Bhagya, however, I don't believe the relationship they shared ever had any depth ever. I know that some people may not agree to this, but I have iterated this again and again in many of my posts. That even the friendship they had was based on extremely shaky foundation. The foundation was Sherlyn's exposure and once that broke whatever that was left was only physical attraction that also seems more one-sided these days anyway.

I since start could never get on bandwagon of preeran being in love. Like I don't see any love or any true feelings between them at all. Neither was their friendship truly friendship as it was just a mutual mission they both had on the basis of which they confided in each other and supported each other due to that common goal and that started changing into attraction. Even now I only see what they have as attraction and infatuation and not love, and more than attraction and infatuation I see ego between them. They are the oddest supposedly made-for-each-other couple I have ever seen on ITV who don't give made-for-each-other vibes at all.

i think makers have been highly successful in showing what exactly they wanted to show between preeran. things are dragged in kdb but at last makers establish the point. whatever they showed between preeran is on purpose. it is intentional.

they are highly incompatible people who are bound together by fate. yes they are made for eachother in terms of marriage. but they are not destined to fall in love. they are bound to live in a loveless marriage because thats what fate has for them.

true... now their relationshiop feels nothing more than physical attraction. and karan is attracted to preeta more than she is to him.

i just watched a few initial episodes. karan and preeta never really talk about anything other than silly banters. they dont even know each other properly. not even now.

Hmmm it seems that is the case only. If that is the case, then it makes sense why preeran are the only couple on itv who I don't find to be true lover types and soulmates even with the arguing and misunderstandings which even happen in other shows too.

Agree that there is no love in Preeran relationship. Actually, there is no love without respect, trust, care and standing up for each other.. Dont see any of these in Preeran relationship, at least not from Karan's side.

Yeah it seems preeran are just two people who fate will keep tied together, but without any real love between them.

every tom dick and harry in the show says karan and preeta love eachother but they never realize it themselves 🤣🤣 most of the audience dont see any love between them either. like you said there are no signs of love. they dont care, trust or respect eacother and they dont stand up for eachother esp karan. and when preeta is shown to do it, her pativrata aspect is highlighted i.e. she is shown to do it for the sake of her marriage.

looks like its not love but the illusion of love which writer tried to create 😆
