Yes and 8 months of dead cold. You can’t hangout in downtown Detroit till late. After 9-9.30 you have to leave from there.

No place to hangout.

We have few friends and family. But most of the friends are hubby’s who are single guys and his mama lives an hour drive away and we meet few times a year.

Thats what I feel that I am getting buddhi before time if I stay here any longer .

Washington DC is like that as well. It becomes too dangerous. I was in there about 20 years ago and we were told to leave by 5.
I understand about the cold part . .

Find same age couples to hang out with.. we are in Chicago & had hard time finding friends than moved to Springfield IL(dead town rather village) so OkC is definitely better than that.. we made more friends once we bought home in OKC, people will invest in friendship if they know you are here for long..
