The episode begins with Purvi hesitating as she climbs down the stairs nervously. She trips over a thin wire tied by Virendra’s two kids . They clap n laugh as Purvi falls down the stairs . Virendra rushes to his wife’s rescue . They have unexpected close moments as he helps her up.
Maa , mamaji , suman and Anjali and all guests rush towards her . Purvi is not much hurt . She hides her sprained ankle though. .Manas n Juhi plan to trouble Purvi more. The head maid taunts Purvi for causing embarrassment to mukhiya’s family .
Mama ji suggests they take a family foto. Purvi is about to sit next to Virendra but he purposely seats Maa next to him leaving Purvi no choice but to sit far away from her husband . Purvi is hurt. She soon is shocked to learn Manas n Juhi were her husband’s children.
Purvi does not know what to expect now . Maa comes to her n notices her shock, she tells her all about Virendra’s children. This was informed to her parents , Purvi says she was not informed by her either parent. Maa calms her by saying parents never reveal everything to their daughters in arranged marriages . Now that marriage was over she better adjust with a smile she advises. Virendra was a very nice guy she will soon discover she assures.
Soon it’s time for dinner. Purvi seats next to her MIL on a table displaying lavishly laid out dishes . she prays that her parents n siblings get enough food to fil,their stomachs just as she was getting today . At her maika Her mother is seen trying to put her younger brother to sleep in poverty n penury.
At haveli Anjali n Suman escort Purvi to suhaag raat room . They taunt n tease her . Maa arrives n sends the girl away. She explains that she was step mother of Virendra. Vir hated her when she newly married his father after his mother died , she gradually won over him with her love . She is sure Purvi too will win over Virendra’s n his kids with her love .
Purvi feels thirsty .. she goes out of the room to get some water. As she passes the locked ornate door , a shadow whisks past her. Purvi gets scared . She wonders who this could be .
Next morning Anjali taunts Purvi as she informs mukhiya ji never visited the suhaag raat room entire night . Anjali asks her to realise she was no where in the mind n heart of her husband . Purvi feels sad .
In her suhaag raat room Purvi feels uncomfortable on the soft luxurious bed . She plonks on the floor . She keeps waiting for her mukhiya but Virendra is seen sitting in another room staring at his first wife’s paintings . he gets scary FBs at night .
Next morning Purvi finds herself bound to the bed posts on the floor . Juhi n Manas laughing at her . Soon Anjali comes n scolds the kids and frees Purvi of the bindings . She warns Purvi to beware of Juhi as she was their step mother n kids never easily accepted their step moms.
Maa arrives n asks Purvi to come with her for taking over her responsibilities . Anjali and Jyoti are angry n jealous that this Molkki was going to become the Malkin !! Maa was going to hand over the keys of the household to her !!
Maa introduces Juhi n Sagar to Purvi asking her to take over the responsibilities of these two
The naughty kids play a prank on her n Purvi ends up with hot spices on her face n eyes . She cries with pain and burning of her eyes n weeps that she was unable to take the responsibilities of the two kids , Maa n mama ji feel tad disappointed . Anjali smirks .
