he wanted to be rewarded for doing his job fairly. he didn't even do it on his own accord - if he wanted to be so fair, he should have made the call right away instead of waiting until the next day

Rahul did not support Kavita from the beginning. Actually, Jas was disqualified log time back, but he let her stay in game because he wanted something like that to be done by Kavita. So, in the end he would give decision in favor of Jas because both made mistake.
