I did try The Night Circus but I put it down within 50 pages. It wasn't bad. It's just that I wasn't in the mood for it.

Both books of Erin Morgenstern are very slow and descriptive. The 'fantasy' is more about the atmosphere that she creates, imo.

Definitely would pick up the book again tho!

Aah...I bought this book a while ago after coming across some reviews. Wanted to know your opinion before I started reading it. I’ll read it sometime later then.

Maybe you could listen to The Silent Patient as an audiobook just to see what the hype is.

Want to read a couple of graphic novels to see what the hype is about. Those who are into graphic novels and anime can’t stop raving about them.

I am few chapters in and it's very heart touching already. Backman's writing caught me a bit off-guard as he talks to the readers but I got used to it quickly. I am liking it. It's just I am not having enough time to read.

I like the way its written...some parts are very hilarious but then other parts just make me lose focus lol. Personally I found the first half better.

The Silence of the Lambs is a good book but in a rare case the movie is much better. Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter was beyond amazing. I’ve read both, The Silence of the Lambs and it’s prequel, Red Dragon.

I like Backman’s writing style and humour, it is different from what I usually read. The book has peaks and valleys. It is fun in parts and a bit of a drag otherwise. The going back and forth in the story is not working all that well in this book.

I’m halfway through and it’s a good book so far, just not the best.
