I haven't seen pre jail episodes that closely so can't really say for sure but I think he really did believe she was selfish, blackmailer and killer. I guess after that Bar kand in S1 when Preesha gives him back saying he was wrong and they're together only for Saransh cause Saransh is now attached with him, is when he might have started to soften up wrt to Preesha and might have subconsciously started believing she can't be the killer even though he kept bringing it up every now and then.

But I could be wrong.. :)

Yup Pree sounds better

Though I like Rudr-a which she already calls him on the show sometimes. That's for all normal, funny, cute scenes.

Though whenever he pulls her close, she goes by full Rudraksh

Basing this off from his subconscious, immediate reaction when he's drunk & lying next to garbage can during BB wedding. When she wakes him up, his immediate reaction to her is just basically "wifeyyyy"
