LOL oh QH was actually good for those initial months despite the usual Gul type elements....I liked the setup of the two families initially but it got too crazy later on.

But yeah, main toh waise hi bolti hoon that anyday it's better to rewatch old shows than deal with the blahh nonsense most of the current shows are. 😆....I'm happy doing my random mixed rewatch of stuff right now.

Oh I remember Aur Phir Ek Din very well....It was Kiran Kumar opposite Soni Razdaan in that one I think.....single parents ki story....that aired on Star Plus I think.

Thoda hai, thodi ki zaroorat also I remember vaguely.....Sony has had many good concept shows in the 2000s also....ironically compared to the other channels, they still atleast try even now, even if they mess up the shows in a few months or axe them....lol

Problem is that Sony ke old shows aren't all available on Sonyliv I think....some of them are there on YT but not all.

It just is annoying ke jab tv lagao toh ek bhi dhang ki cheez nahi aa rahi hoti to watch for timepass banda wohi depressing news kitne time tak sun sakta hai aur kuch toh maang nahi rahe bas itna hi dedicated ke 15 ,20 min aaram se banda jab bhaithe toh kuch ho watxh karne layak. It's not like ke woh shows had koi bohat zyada logic but still itne cringe toh nahi hote thay ya try hard. Old shows ka reqatch is good and all but jab pata ho from memory that how the tracks will unfold toh unless you have had a greater love like shivika ka case ya LTL toh woh itne dedication se repeat nahi hote. *sigh*

Like all am asking for is kuch dhang ke characters and actors who can atleast sell your crap storylines dhang se bina making them cringe and have basic dedication towards the work and are not only involved in vanity ke bas utna ho gaya toh hit ho gaye

And oh well I miss talking to you all mujhe aadat jo hai blabbering karne ki kich na kuch 😆

Aage ke epi mein bhi bas yehi tha ki Shravan called some random old friend of Suman's to lend her 2 lakhs or something to pay for this jewelery.....lol this whole angle is so random....anyways they are just trying to show ki Shravan will keep secretly helping her. End mein kuch random scene tha with Sophie and Avni got Shravan to admit that he still loves Sumo😆.....precap mein Diwali scenes hain kuch with Shravan softening more towards Sumo and telling Sophie he can't love anyone else😆. So yes, shaayad finally khatam kar hi dein....shukar hoga😆

Mere paas aaj thoda time and mood tha toh catch up kar liya😆

Re: Gulaal....oh cool you are close to the DV....nice! Main bhi last few days se kuch epis catch up kar rahi hoon....June is the most super charged month angst/drama wise in the story.....every epi is like an atom bomb....some of the best scenes of the show😆. Raman kaafi time tak bechaare Kesuda ko post-leap mein bhi mislead karta rahega.....

I watched till Ras leela part and Motabha coming to know of Diyarvattu. Sudha is such a character that throws in some surprises every now and then😆, she tried helping Gulaal by finding money hidden by Raman. But she got such a raw deal in Raman🤢 Dushyant has been a rock for her, what a change he is going through....! Gulaal- Dushyant scenes are so layered too! The attention to detail in the show is outstanding and every big issue is covered from every perspective. Dushyant is trying so hard to repent for what he has done by trying to help Gulaal in every possible way, but Gulaal just asks him one pointed question, Why don’t you just turn yourself in?

Dushyant tells Motabha he killed Vasant, the kind of courage that he has shown here, trying his best to tell Motabha he killed Vasant and Motabha keeps consoling him thinking Dushyant feels he could not save Vasant and thats what he is talking about💔

The way Gulaal comes to know about Tallis mom was really poignant scene:( Rasleela reminded me of RK. 😆It was short but was done nicely.

Motabha comes to know about Diyarvattu and the first thing he asks Gulaal, what will happen to her once Kesar grows up.

Recap: Motabha talks about breaking DV and getting Gulaal married! A show where both MIL and FIL are first and foremost thinking about their DILs future and not blindly allowing stuff to happen just because it is advantageous to them.

You know, watching on dailymotion, these clips have the original ads from the TV versions so I'm getting to see things like Manasi/Gulaal promoting the transition to HD for SP that happened that year😆....I also didn't know that IPK launched in 2011 June....uski bahut ads hain in the June epis.....Gulaal ko dikhaya ek clip mein promoting "nafrat paas aane na de"🤣.....then one random bit also had Talli promoting woh Saathiya waale show ka title song🤣

LOL you're quite welcome. Glad you are enjoying the epis.....haha yeah, the Raasleela reminded me of RK too when I rewatched these epis recently😆....but I still find it a stretch for them to pitch Talli as Radha😆.....her love for Kesar really wasn't devotional in that sense😆.

Re: Dushyant....yes, his scenes are very poignant in that phase....the turmoil, the remorse....it's very well built up....oh that was a lovely heartbreaking scene of his with MB.....I love the way this show weaves in tragic irony so beautifully.

Re: DV....yes, MB hits the nail on the head and asks Gulaal the most direct and logical question.....but Gulaal remains shortsighted and then Talli becomes an easy excuse for her to justify her choice.....still, MB continues to see the impending doom waiting in the future.

Word on how progressive both MB and Paanba were.....supposedly "illiterate" characters from a village had such progressive thoughts.....this is why it's a pity that stories are so typecast on TV now without allowing for any logical or coherent characters such as these. They both thought about Gulaal and in fact, for most of the story, Gulaal is so venerated that everyone does keep trying in their own way to help secure her future....however, it is Gulaal who continues to make her choices and see them through, good or bad....lol she's a very headstrong one and it's hard for anyone's will to prevail in front of her.....except for Kesar's ultimately....and woh bhi it's a long, painstaking journey for him to win her over😆
