Just because we love the show, doesn't mean we need to justify it every damn time when it messes up, not when they just shake the whole damn base of the concept of the show. If that's negativity, then I am fine as a pessimist!

The characters can be fictional, place can be fictional, but the era is not. Otherwise they could have put the era as 2020 and say this is fictional world where child can get married to a man in 2020 and no one would mind because its fiction. That's lame.

When they are taking a show, with a fictional story on historical India which focuses on SOCIAL DRAMA and FREEDOM struggle, they need to keep their facts right. They cannot just distort the whole history of the biggest democracy in the world like that.

Going by that theory, we cannot actually blame showing makkhi and all in a previous colors show which ran for years and was set in 21st century and wasn't even started as a supernatural show.

True that Sujz. Makers are just twisting the history as per their convenience. They should just give a disclaimer that show ka pura plotline hi fiction hai, India mei kabhi aise issues hue hi nahi

ITV gives ZERO s**ts about reality and facts. Jaha reality shows bhi scripted hote hai, waha fiction se kya hi umeed rakhna 😕

They PRINTED a whole damn newspaper just for the show which clearly mentioned the year. That's how shows indicate timelines, they just don't declare, this year is 2020 or something. And now if they flip on the timeline, its a bigger blunder as it shows they skips years just according to their whims and fancies.

And they are showing wrong facts besides the timeline factor too.
