Really? so how many 'actors' have died this year due to this high-risk job?. Asshole.
And if you’re a p*rn star it’s even riskier usually but covid only spreads by liquids from face they say... So...
If you give a voice to stupid people, they will say stupid things.
What's new here?
Are we surprised, though?
Mr Eugenics is true to form here 😳
Saif speaking self absorbed privileged rubbish is not new.
He has a point that any job done in close quarters with others w/o a mask is high risk.
But - acting is not an ESSENTIAL job especially not for well off actors like Saif.
Nor are actors exposed to a steady stream of COVID patients for hours, days, weeks, months that medical professionals are - that over exposure even with PPE leading to too many deaths.
Typical uneducated bollywood style statements
This is highly insensitive.
Yes, actors cannot wear masks. But all productions right now have extensive testing and the stars live in a bubble. The crew has testing available, but not as much as actors and they still have to wear masks etc. Most A-list actors have a choice of whether to take the risk or wait it out. Smaller actors don't have choices and they have to take the risk to earn wages.
Hospital workers, on the other hand, don't have PPE, don't have access to adequate testing, are duty-bound to serve, work in high stress long shift environments with not enough wages or perks for what they. Plus they are actually trying to save lives.

While I agree with the sentiment of this post, I think some doctors/nurses are remunerated very well. It just depends where you live and what your specialism is. For example, I have a friend studying med in Cali and in about $300k of student debt atm. But his earning potential starts from $250k and can go up to $2m. I’d argue that’s a sufficient wage. Similarly, my GP up until now refuses to see any patients face to face and I know for a fact they’ve received significant additional funding to deal with the “pressures”.
As for Saif, this is why you gotta stay in school kids.

Eh. He's old enough to know better period. His not having gone on to university 30 years ago is not an excuse to be ignorant on this or many other matters. Besides a lot of formally educated people are ignorant, sometimes proudly so. (looks at recent news)
