She was the youngest female singer ever to get filmfare award at may be age 15 for song aap jaisa koi meri jindgi mein aaye in may be 1981.

I love Nazia, I remember listening to her songs on cassette tape on loop when younger. Her duets with her bro, Zoheb were also good, but clearly Nazia was the better singer of the two.

Aap Jaisa Koi and the songs from 'Star' catapulted the siblings to fame in India. Such a unique voice, and Biddu's songs, truly the 80s were something! ❤️

I was born in 1993 i.e, WAY AFTER Nazia's prime years.

But I have listened to her songs.

Her voice was so distinctive, melodious and unique.👍🏼 Even today, there's no match to her voice.👏

Not to mention, how ahead-of-time she looked & sounded in that era.
It's almost like a 21st century girl, traveled back in time to the 80s and became a singing sensation.
