No strong wild-cards since season 9. What's the reason?

Season 9 was the last season in Bigg Boss when strong wild-cards (Rishabh Sinha and Priya Malik) came as contestants and challenged the already established housemates.

Rishabh even became 1st runner up and it even looked like he might steal Prince's victory although it didn't happen.

After that all wild-cards from season 10 to this season turned out to be nothing more than wallpapers.

What is the reason for this in your opinion?

Do wild-cards don't get a chance from Bigg Boss and they get treated like second class citizens in the house because they joined the game late?

Personally, I think Kavita, Shardul and Naina are/were strong and interesting personalities but Bigg Boss is/was not supporting them at all.

Wild-cards are now brought only to serve as sidekicks or to increase the crowd in the house.

P.S. : Surbhi Rana from season 12 was a strong contestant but I'll not call her technically a complete wild-card, because she was sent inside the house even before the show started and then got eliminated on premier. Then she again entered the house after few weeks.

Aly looks strong. Let's see how he plays. But his priority is to prop up Jasmin's game so can't say.
