Kerosene is flamable but not as highly combustible like petrol or gasoline. Kerosene mostly used in fire breathing or the circus fire stunts because it's vapourizing flame is higher than room temperature i think if I got my sciences right😉. I'm assume it's kerosene though. I can't read hindi letters😅.

But I agree 100% it is reckless handling it in such way with so many diyas. It could have easily gone wrong and got out of ARC's control. It did add a dramatization value though to the scene.

I was even wondering why they had diyas on the bookshelves.
