sexual abuse does not mean actual xxx or putting their hand there, it can be other form of touching you too.

many of us experience this and r still confused whether it was sexual abuse or we thought it was... mostly this happens when we r 3 till 6th std..earlier if it happened we don't remember it.

later family members avoid cos they think now u r grown up n may end up telling on them.

It is very common in india to experience sexual abuse in childhood. Even the rich are not spared. There is nothing unbelievable about this.

Best way to prevent sexual abuse of children is to educate them about it. Parents should always try to win their kids trust.

If a child feels uncomfortable with anyone's presence or touch and wants to get away from any one, let them leave the place. No one should touch the child on lips, chest, back, privates and thighs. If the child gets frozen with fear at any time, they should be taken away from situation. They should be taught not to go anywhere with anyone. They should be taught to shout and scream if they feel danger.

If blood or any injury is found on no touch zone, please check with the kid, if anyone has been touching or harming them. If yes, please contact 1098, it's child helpline. All the calls are kept nom disclosable. Register a FIR with police. Many future crimes can be prevented with arrest of such perverts.

This is the main safety protocol I have learnt at my workplace.

Clear communication and trust among the parents and child prevents any child sexual abuse.

No adult should be touching a kid's privates other than parent while bathing them. If you see someone making a child uncomfortable remove the kid from that person's presence. Many of colleagues have done this for the kid's safety. The kid felt so relieved. Sometimes you really need to teach parents about sexual harassment among kids.

Some people are just perverts. Nobody is safe around them. Police constantly is dealing with increasing crime against kids. They actually hold training for people in aviation, travel and hospitality, to recognise the victims of abuse and human trafficking. The data and statistics is way horrible.

Why does she want to share these bad things about her life suddenly out in the open? The first part of the article and the second half don't match at all either. I feel she does NOT have a noble reason for sharing these things 😒

Child sexual abuse is an horrible thing and I have utmost sympathy and respect for genuine survivors...

BUT I find it very strange how this girl is suddenly posting all these sad stories about her self on social media (from depression to parents divorce and now this)...

Just saying, a top film star's daughter getting raped is hardly the same thing as any middle class or working class girl getting raped... the upper class don't have to fear police ignoring them, or culprits getting away through corruption, like any ordinary family in India would...

The only fear an elite upper class family would have that would prevent them reporting the abuse of their teenage daughter is "badnaami" which this particular girl and family are clearly not concerned about if they are now posting on her public Instagram account that she is a rape victim 😕

Hate to say it but this looks like peak attention seeking to me... the exact type of nonsense that makes it harder of real victims to handle things the right way (reporting to police)...

Fasial is not mentally challenged, Aamir claimed he had schizophrenia. Was it around the same time Aamir was fighting for Faisal's custody when this thing happened to this poor girl?

Good that she was able to come out and share her story it will motivate others
