See, Mami wasn't a close one to Anirudh. So it was totally Sumati's call to punish Mami. But in case of Saudamini, she was his best friend, a close one. So it's his call how to punish her for that selfish and greedy act of hers.

First of all its not about whose call.! Ani knows about mami very well and also he knows how cruel she can get to stoop low.! He doubted them before aswell.! So forgiving them or punishing her doesn't gonna make sense to him, because it was his mistake to send his wifey knowing how cruel her mama mami is.! That's why he didn't interfere much in punishing mami.!

But in mini case, he wasn't aware of her true self...she was manipulating him with her fake concern and fake drama's..! She emotionally played with Rudhita of their goodness.

Ani consider mini to be a very good friend of his, but she took that care as advantage and played with his feelings.!

He is more angry on her for not hurting him, but he is angry with sauda of her selfishness, inhumane act of leaving a kid , his wife in that hell and for hurting his kaka.!

He will never forgive her and he will never be that oni to saudamini 😆
