Exactly mahi 😔 I honestly never imagined that Mami would be forgiven. If they wanted to keep Mami's character for a negative shade in the show, they could have left her secret to be hidden from the family . 😕

To think about it, character like Mami will not understand what is their mistake. With or without forgiveness they will tend to go back being the bad natured person they are.

She will only be impacted when herself or her own kin hurt in a very big way.

When Mami was exposed, if Bon had let Mama hit her, it's domestic violence. If he had kicked her out, Mami will be an abandoned woman. Bon actually was matured enough to make Sumati & Ani to forgive her. But both Ani & Sumati wouldn't forget about Mami's act and should not trust Bon being with her.

On the other hand, Mini's expose will not bring the same complication as Mami. Mini being an outsider, will still have her family to support and protect her future in this situation.

Plus she is the reason Bon left the house and Mami's act was a cascading act of the events that happened after that. Mini actually had a chance to redeem herself had she saved Bon in HM. But, that's the gravest mistake she made, leaving a small child to a terrible fate. That's a major anger point of Ani on Mini.

See, Mami wasn't a close one to Anirudh. So it was totally Sumati's call to punish Mami. But in case of Saudamini, she was his best friend, a close one. So it's his call how to punish her for that selfish and greedy act of hers.
