Yup! I had always said that the truth will be bitter no matter who it came from. But if it came from a third person, it will hurt a lot more because it wouldn't necessarily be the truth. It'll be manipulated and twisted to suit the third person's agenda. Aur wohi jaa ke hua.
Idk what Daadi can even do in this situation. The problems are between Riansh, and it's up to them to solve it. She can't be there to do every little thing for them. Puja paath, or decorating a room with some balloons isn't going to do anything.

Sorry for me he looked a little hypocrite here, he never trusted her (painting burning,black glove,yellow glove, mom poisoning) he didn't even let her prove her innocence most of the time. He wants her to trust him but didn't trust her completely.
I feel he's not reluctant to share his past, he just wants to forget about it. Riddhima did try to tell him about her past twice but he didn't let her do that. I personally feel she should have told him by moving out of her comfort zone or by any other way coz her past is not just a past but a kind of betrayal mixed with it too
