Last season had gr8 rivalries. Sid vs rashmi from starting. Asim vs Paras. Sid vs Asim the best one. Sana vs Paras / Mahira.
There was only one time when group dynamics changed majorly in Season 13. That was when sid asim fought . Otherwise it was more or less status quo.
Here in this season the dynamics are changing so much and so frequently that season is slowly heading towards doomsday.

I think, although rivalry is needed to keep the show going and Interesting and to create strong fanbases for the elite contestants, who will definitely go into finals. For example, Siddharth, Shehnaz and Asim. They all were strong people and had rivalry with someone majorly throughout the season. That's why they were Top3 with their fan's support. At one point of time, they were good friends but later dynamics changed with them. But that was just Season 13. It had a dominant Siddharth, a Entertaining Shehnaaz, a opposing Asim, a submissive Rashmi etc and together they kept the show going.
But you cannot compare season 13 with Season 14 now. Here, people are different, dynamics are different and this season is a lot more different.
Why I say so? Well, because it started in a corona pandemic, which created huge difficulties for creatives to get Interesting personalities in the BB game. Still they tried their best with bringing in ;
- A Rubina, who is blunt and bold with major fanbase, who speaks her mind always and doesn't back down at all.
- A Abhinav, who is gentleman, plays mind games, does what's right, protects his wife & speaks for himself
- A Eijaz, who has weird anger management issues, veteran actor, good in terms of manners & gets agitated & starts jumping soon; lacks maturity
- A Nikki, who is mean, upfront and on your face. She doesn't step back even if she's wrong and a Casanova girl who plays with boys like Jaan, Rahul etc
- A Jaan, Nepotism kid, protected by BB and host, but a good singer and shrewd player, uses Nikki to get noticed
- A Rahul, who is blunt, creepy at times, a known singer, but comic at times due to his behaviour, doesn't step back if he thinks he's right
- Jasmine, another famous actress, quite entertaining at times, submissive but good at heart, speaks for herself
Rest I don't even bother mentioning about.😆
So even if you want rivalry, it will be only interesting if it's between Rubina and Rahul, Rubina and Eijaz, Rubina-Abhinav and whole house, Rahul and whole house, Nikki and Rubina, otherwise I don't think it will be interesting.
I don't think people will like Pavitra on screen for longer duration because of her too much negative personality. However, that's just my views and I'm entitled to them. You can agree or disagree.
I also think, rivalry is not mandatory to keep the show going. However it's definitely covers the major part of BB. But this year it could be different as well. Let's see how it goes in the coming weeks.
