Whose debut performance was the STRONGEST?

Who is this Alaya? And why is she so popular on IF?

The only movie I actually liked Sara's performance in is Kedarnath and that debut was better than both Alaya and Ananya.

Alaya is probably the one solitary debutante from the most recent crop who can dethrone DP and Meryl Streep.

I like Sara best out of that group but it’s difficult to tell who’s actually a better actor between her and Alaya so early on... they were both good in their debuts and the nature of the two films and the characters they both played is quite different too...

One thing I know already is that they’re both way better than Ananya though 😂

Yeah I liked Sara in Kedarnath but she was atrocious in LAK 2. Like, really really bad. I liked Alaya in Jaawani Jaaneman and thought she aced the character. I agree it's too early to make judgements on them.

Ananya made a mediocre debut as compared to these 2.

Yeah I agree she was bad in LAK2 but then so was Kartik, I think it’s the direction and story that made them bad tbh, neither or them are like that anywhere else 😂

And yeah Alaya was very good in her debut... but I feel it’s also true that the story of that film was cleverly written and the direction was good in general, so that gave her the opportunity to show her skills...

And yes Ananya was so dull in SOTY2, I could not believe it that people were praising her at the time 🙃... and it wasn’t even just the film, she similarly was dull/pheeka in PPAW 😂.

Alaya is Pooja Bedi's daughter. She and Tripi are the future of BW, if they play their cards right.
