Universal suffrage came to this world with loads of protests and sacrifices. Right to vote was something reserved for elites in 19th century. Then only men were allowed to vote. Finally in 20th century due to protest from women in 20th century voting became popular in Americas and Europe.

I am ashamed to say we have some people in my country who refuse to vote. They will treat it as a holiday. I have also seen some idiots who will not vote as an investigation results are not as per their choice. Such people should be sent back to 19th century were human rights were non existent. Then they will understand why so many people sacrificed their lives for this right.
