Why Hindi shows are not Weekly or Bi-Weekly and only DS ?

Daily soaps are stretched nowadays daily, previously it was mon to wed then mon-thurs then mon-fri and now at present mon-sat or daily. Instead of airing a show daily and irritating the viewers with filler episodes why dont these big channels consider bringing weekly or bi-weekly shows that are seasonal based or finite series.

For eg.

Daily Soap : Mon to Wed

Bi- Weekly : Thurs & Fri

Like this daily soaps will maintain their quality, writers will get more time to pen down refreshing ideas and trp issue will be in a bit control because a show that runs from mon to wed will generate high trps compared to a show that runs daily. And weekly or bi weeky will have their seperate viewership. Double revenue isnt it.

If it happens viewers will crib to make it 5 or even 7 days a week. They will do multiple trending to get their wish fulfilled.
