Political parties thought he was irritated with the language. That’s why whole mess.

I am a proud Maharashtrian and I hate Jaan (nothing to do with this controversy just his game). But this whole controversy is one big misunderstanding. None of this was required. His intention wasn’t to disrespect the language. These people don’t watch show just took that line and running with it.

Tab kya sher bann rahe the. This is a deep rooted culturally sensitive issue where Hindi language is perceived as national language and each region in India definitely more in Maharashtra is protective of their own culture and language esp as their locals are outnumbered.

Yeah I guess so dude. I don’t know a lot about India but I guess language is a serious issue. I mean just look at this tweet.

Some MNS peeps are demanding Jaan to apologize on national tv within 24 hrs or else they’ll shut the whole show down. And I guess MNS are very powerful in Mumbai.
