I am new here, while watching big boss saw some promos and I feel if makers can write well, this show can be path breaking.

Few years back a show used to come "Doli armano ki" the main plot is kind of similar to an extent. The beautiful docile wife gets married to a monster and her journey which was realistic and inspiring. Go Mayura go. Be a trendsetter in a doormat clan

I watched Doli Armaano ki....was a very good show and very realistic. The acting was excellent there. It was basically about a battered wife whose husband was a cheater, abuser and basically didn’t love her...he was normal...but a jerk. Here Omkar is mentally disturbed ...he’s not normal ...he’s mentally sick and suffers from a mental disorder that his mother is hiding...So I suppose it will show how it’s not possible to lead a normal life with a mentally disturbed man.. But I don’t think Mayura will evoke the same emotion and sympathy from us viewers like Urmi got....because I think there’s still some hope for Omkar ...if he can get proper medical/ psychiatric treatment ..he can change and he and Mayura can still have a normal happy life ...whereas Samrat in Doli Was a terrible person...he was a normal man who was cruel and a monster to his wife..so there was no redeeming of his character...And it broke our hearts to see Urmi suffer and she used to get beaten up so badly by Samrat.. here Omkar values Mayuras beauty too much so i don’t think we will see any physical abuse...But she has been suffering emotional trauma ..

Omkar is evil too. I don't want him and Mayura in the end.

yes he’s sick in the head....but these writers can do anything ..they can make him go completely black where there’s no turning back ..or they can write something to redeem him.. The thing is that Gautam Vig who plays Piyush usually does side roles...so I don’t think they’ll keep him for Mayura..

This show is similar to Saubhagyavati Bhava. The only difference is the reason behind the husband's obsession with their wives; Viraj was obsessed with the idea of having a perfect wife while Omkar is obsessed with Mayura's beauty. They overlap in a lot of ways: both Viraj and Omkar have been shown to suffer from psychotic breaks and obsessive-compulsive tendencies. Omkar is as obsessed with perfection as Viraj was. What I really appreciated about Saubhagyavati Bhava was that they didn't have Viraj and Jhanvi end up together after him abusing her. Viraj had to pay a price for his crimes. That's what I expect from this show as well.

Women are not punching bags/therapists for 'damaged' men. It's not Mayura's job to 'cure' Omkar with her love. It's not possible. Omkar's issues are his to resolve. It would also be an inaccurate depiction of the kind of condition Omkar has because if it could be 'cured' by pyaar bhara bhashan, these problems wouldn't exist.

Omkar needs to realise he can't play God in people's lives. He needs treatment and therapy. His mother really deserves a tight slap because she is the one who has enabled him in the name of a mother's love. How can she be okay with her son behaving like a psycho? As they say, when you raise snakes in your backyard, they will bite you someday. She is already seeing how Omkar is disregarding her over his Mayura jaap. IDK when she will realise she raised a monster.
