but marriage is commitment, its based on love and if Binoy chose not to do that again then surely he should have loved his wife a lot and losing her may have put this fear inside him of losing his loved ones, especially Aniruddh whom he loves the most, causing him to try to control Ani as much as possible.

They didn't include Ani countering him with that question (which normally he would have) because then the focus had to shift to Binoy's story which wasn't possible at that time.

But I am curious to know about Binoy's feelings. But like every other SSP show, I guess here too a dead parent is dead, they're just mentioned without any name at times and that's it.
