Veer and Damon are similar in certain ways. Damon had a love-hate relationship with his brother, but actually, he deeply loved Stefan. He fell in love with Elena deeply, but he never forced her to accept his love. He always was grey and did a lot of questionable things, but all that was because he was selfish for Elena. Damon always allowed Elena to choose. He may not have agreed with her most of the time, because Elena was very humane and compassionate, but he never left her side, no matter what. Damon always embraced his darkness because it was a part of his personality, and he knew Elena also had it in her, but she shied away from it. Damon was Elena's best friend after Bonnie and Caroline, he was her confidant, he was a shoulder when Stefan left her for some time. For Elena, he took care of her brother Jeremy, for Elena he chose to save Bonnie over her. Because of Elena, Damon became the best version of the man Stefan always saw in him. But Damon did not lose his identity in that. He retained his sassy, humorous, devious self. That is Damon Salvatore for me.
Veeranshu Singhania is an unconventional lover like Damon. His love is as grey as his personality. He loves his family and covers up some of their questionable deeds. He has a stronger moral compass, which is a reason for fear and anxiety among his brothers and father. He has sass, swag, and humor. And with a strong persona, he has a sharp mind to compliment that. He is deeply in love with Bani, but he does not know how to express his love conventionally. He shows love in his 'mahabadtameez' style. He has never felt so intensely for any woman, as he has felt for his wife. He feels everything because of Bani's presence - remorse, guilt, pain, jealousy, anger. These emotions were there in him but have been awakened by Bani. He is obsessive, possessive, and a selfish lover. He is not willing to share Bani with anyone. He protects her, safeguards her. He can fight the world, including his family for Bani. He allows Bani to make her choices. He does not force or limit her raw persona in any way. He appreciates every aspect of her. He always allows her to lead, but steps in only when he feels that his presence is absolutely necessary.
I cannot do a complete analysis of Veer, because I haven't seen him take serious questionable actions to protect Bani. For that, we need to see more of how Veer does whatever he does to protect her. But these are the similarities between Damon and Veer. But I have predictions in mind - one Meera is going to be a bridge between Bani and Veer, and also Meera and Veer can become good friends in the long run, like Bonnie and Damon, cause Meera has the thehrav and stability of a good friend which an excitable Veer can lean on. Meera and Veer definitely give me 'Bamon' vibes.
