We know he was signed to a big Dharma deal (3 films plus in-house talent management). Then, KJo gave him a 'soft launch' in Humpty Sharma, where he was positioned in a really prominent non-lead role. Maybe the plan was to do a proper launch afterwards, or at least a parallel level launch (similar to Fawad Khan in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil) and something went wrong. Jo bhee ho, his brattiness seems to be quite well documented even in his early years of TV, but he's really turned into a monster in the last year it seems.
