"On Monday, Sanjay Dutt had gone to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for his PET scan. After the check-up, the doctors told him that he is cancer free. PET scan tests are considered to be the most authentic tests for cancer," said Bansal while talking to ABP News.

He further added, "Soon after the test, I had a word with Sanjay Dutt. He sounded very happy when he gave me this information."

When asked what he said during the conversation Bansal replied that “While divulging the information that the doctors gave him he said that he was extremely happy and wants to quickly get back to shooting all his unfinished projects. He also told me that he will begin shooting the film KGF and then proceed with shooting for Shamshera. He will then follow with shooting for Prithiviraj Chauhan and then for the film Bhuj."

It has to be noted that to confirm this news ABP News had contacted Sanjay Dutt's wife Manyata, his sister Priya Dutt, Dutt's team, and Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital but at the time of writing we received no clarification from anyone.

Happy for him and his family if this news is true. His recent picture was a frail version of himself. Would be a miracle if it’s a recovery with stage 4

I hope this is true but wasn't he stage IV?
And lung cancer is very hard to treat unless it's stage 1 and localized and resettable. And even then I'm not sure you'd be able to avoid chemo or radiation. This doesn't sound right.

My khala has lung cancer since 2016; and she's still fighting it.
