If she is Sharda's daughter then she will become Rudra's step sister, I also don't think its something to do with blood relation.

Also, Its best chance for Yuvraj as well as he know Rudra and Kirti were doing what...

May be if they want to go for shock factor they should show Sharda killed her accidentally or in self defence. That'll justify their connection and close the loop. That'll also say they always planned to show it this way.
