I don't know what he's so worried about anyway. Nobody cares about movies that release on OTT so it hardly matters what the bhakts do to Laxmi Bomb. They come and go and are forgotten in a week.

The game was already over with this one when he had to decide on OTT release. What does it matter now?

They knew it too. But like they do it with theatrical releases as well... they make profit from the distributors then they keep manipulating the numbers to call their movies hit... distributors lose money but no one gets to know... they wanted to do the same with these OTT releases aswell. Like Anushka did with her OTT releases: Zoom party on second day and all. But this boycott culture has ruined everything for them. Now it won't be easy to manipulate people.

If they can show their latest release was a hit... their market value either rises or remains the same. So Akki could have easily stayed on top with his multiple OTT releases, thanks to manipulation.

He's crying now coz it's not possible now.

Same like they can support eachother for all I care but the hashtag is such a cringe .. I hope this doesn’t turn into a movement 😂😭

That's true. They won't be able to pretend it's a hit with these boycott trends everyday. Though I've seen the media writing fake articles about other OTT releases and how millions watched it complete with fake numbers of what it would have made at the theatrical box office.

This year is a complete waste anyway. Even the few films that release in the theater later this year won't be able to boast. How are they going to make big numbers or even lie about them when theaters are supposed to maintain social distancing?

Btw, I don't get the hype about Anushka's OTT productions. I saw them and didn't really like them - are millions actually watching them? The best shows I've seen are all under-hyped ones: Panchayaat and The Family Man on Prime and recently Scam 1992 on Sony Liv. The quality of those 3 shows is far and above anything else being put out.
