contestant Jasmin Bhasin was rumoured to be dating Suraj Wadhwa, who has reportedly set up a production house. The two of them never went public about their relationship but their pictures together spoke affection and love. In August 2018 when Jasmin was shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 9 in Australia, she was seen missing Suraj especially when it was his birthday.
Sharing a picture, this is what Jasmin had written for him, “Happy birthday @surajwadhwa. I wish I could be there with you to celebrate today because you are so special to me, it feels really sad to be away from you today. May you get everything that you wish for Suraj, I miss you and want you to be happy always.”
The two broke up and Suraj apparently went on to find love in Girl In The City actress, Swati Vatssa. And soon, there were cosy pictures of Suraj and Swati all around, one of them having Suraj and Swati chilling by the pool.
While Suraj, when contacted, informed ETimes TV that he is single which 'implies' that he has split with Swati too, it is clear that Jasmin and Suraj are not in touch at all.
Jasmin did not tell Suraj that she's going to Bigg Boss 14. "We speak only on and off," Suraj said rather diplomatically, but claimed, "No, Jasmin and I were not dating each other. We were just good friends." Added Suraj, "We are still friends but not that much in touch. You are close to some friends for only a certain period of time." When asked why the close friendship became distant, Suraj replied, "No particular reason. Work and all, toh ho jaata hai."
However, Suraj's heart is yet beating for Jasmin's victory. "I hope she wins. But I haven't seen any episode this season yet," he said, rather candidly.
Does Jasmin pick up fights, which also is one of the ingredients of providing content in Bigg Boss else you might be out soon? Suraj said, "She's a sweet girl. She doesn't pick up fights and is not argumentative either, from as long as I know her," Suraj said.
Does Jasmin have it in her to stand up for what is right and say it as is? "She's very straightforward as a person. So, she's a fighter in that sense. If these skills are needed, I am sure she will go all out and put her best foot forward," Suraj concluded.
