Movies like Gadar, Veer-Zaara and Ek That Tiger where a Muslim girl (that too Pakistani) gets married to a Hindu guy, are watched and loved by masses.

But one ad showing the other way around and they lose their shit.

PK was different, kedarnath also showed a Muslim boy in love with a Hindu girl... there were protests but the masses loved it.. but then, the movie Bombay also faced the brunt of hardline muslims because it showed a Muslim girl in love with a Hindu boy

How can you call Hindus intolerant then ? Haven't the protests against the movie Bombay shown hardliners from other groups can protest too. Hindu hardliners protested against the ad and those movies.. majority still watched it and made it a commercial success.

What about the movie Sins? Didn't it bear heat from Catholics?

Stop vilifying entire religion like that. You may or may not be a Hindu, but that doesn't mean that you call Hindus intolerant. Kangu is neither a spokesperson for the Hindus nor for Bollywood..

This is dangerous. Stock drop, if true, will come back up because traders generally have only one religion. But the demand to fire a Muslim executive because you didn't like an ad is bad, bad, bad precedent.

I couldn’t even make out that the in laws were Muslims ., unless I pay very close attention to the father in law , that he’s wearing the Muslim head cap.(sorry , I don’t know what it’s called properly). The MIL can be a punjabi too,..... with the head covering. I thought it was South Indian bride with North Indian in laws😆.

In PK, Anushka and Sushant's love story was a side-plot, and the movie still got a lot of backlash from Hindus but more for other reasons.

Kedarnath wasn't a big Hit compared to Gadar, Veer-Zaara or Ek Tha Tiger.

Bombay and Sins are old movies, and you bringing out these movies only prove that Muslims and Christians are also intolerant, not that Hindus are not.

Fine, Muslims and Christians are also intolerant but so are the Hindus. Keep on finding mistakes in other religions to show that your religion is better.
