Movies which made you feel ill at ease?

What are some examples of movies which made you feel uncomfortable/ill at ease?

For me:

Raman Raghav 2.0 and LSD are two movies which shook me up completely and made me very very uncomfortable. The graphic violence in RR 2.0 and the honour killing in LSD were very disturbing. Also, some of the scenes in Article 15.

Pinjar was a heart-wrenching movie.

Love, Sonia was also very graphic and gory - about sex trafficking.

Kahani Part 2.

The child abuse angle was very difficult to watch- even though they didnt show anything but the dialogues were enough to unsettle me.

Umrao jaan was sad too.. the rekha one showed how Ameeran was kidnapped and made a courtesan... longed for love and family but never gained acceptance

Pinjar was a sad movie... kidnapping of puro was scary... Rashid had some good traits and her life could have been worse if she were assigned to someone else.. that doesn't take away the fact that her kidnappers were criminals and parents heartless... I watched the movie long ago but her parents refusal to accept her still shakes me to the core... the only bright side of the whole thing is that puro manages to reunite her kidnapped bhabhi with her brother and asks him not to look down on his wife because she was kidnapped... her refusal to go back to her family in the end was practical given the times and outlook of the people

So agree with with you. Pinjar, one of my Fav movie..!! Urmila was amazing and so was Manoj.

I was so sad to watch when she comes home in the night and no one opens the door...
