Nobody expects anything from them. Both are selfish to the core. After his wife got attacked by his chamchas, Ranveer was sucking up to Modi on Twitter. He was doing open nautanki during Padmavat too while she was getting death threats. Why would he join this? Nobody expects anything from him.

Same for Ranbir. The channels made drug charges against him but in his case, they are true so how is he going to join in? There are interviews out where he talks about his drug use so what can he sue about?

Saif also stayed out. Same for him. There are interviews where he talks about his drug use.

Priyanka is a bhakt and I don't think anyone would have asked her to join anyway.

But Deepika is a glaring missing name. She should have been there but whatever.

Put that disclaimer on republic tv and this whole problem goes away 👌

If that is indeed the case then the case is justified. But has NCB cleared the case against Bollywood.

Yes and Republic/Times now should be registered under entertainment section not news section. Then they can run their daily soaps

Srk was 2 films old when he threatened to sue stardust’s ass coz they published some crap about steamy scenes in maya memsab and how it was all real

The older gen actors take the lead and have those leadership qualities

From what I understand, specific people in bollywood do have a ground to sue. Not sure how they are going to proceed with this, but its likely.

@bold: Again, I agree that media houses have crossed a line, by all means take them to court. I'm just saying that this is gonna set a precedent. Now every news reported, every opinion given by these media houses will become a fair game and these people won't have the support of 'FOE is in danger' crutch.

Petitions against Udta Punjab(which was then supported by BW) actually become legitimate now. (You can't generalize an entire state with drug problems when you can't stand the generalization of your own industry.) Hell, someone from Mirzapur can actually go ahead and file case against the makers of Mirzapur for defamation of their town and that will be considered legit.
