Yep. Not only that, these actresses come to whine about pay parity and equality and feminism and all that. But when it comes to tough things, they want the boys to take care of it while they watch from the side and protect themselves. Those lectures about how they deserve just as much money and my choice and all that becomes meaningless when you show yourself that when it comes to important things, you prefer to hide behind the men in the industry. Everyone has struggles so that's not an excuse.

I don't think that name calling might be a bigger issue, people can get away with it. It's a matter of how it is done, and how much it is done - what they are doing is harassment. The constant hounding, sensationalisation and fake news without proof is a bigger problem.

The channels can get into trouble for spreading fake news in the name of investigative journalism. They are already under the scanner for TRP scam. Arnab's abetment to suicide case has also been reopened. Seems like he will be battling on all fonts in sometime.

But you can't parameterize harrasment. There is no metric when it comes to defamation. Once a guideline is issues and a judgement passed anything and everything becomes a fair game. Be it name-calling or hounding. Just because one person is doing it politely doesn't change the meaning of the words.

Rhea was the one who had the actual leg to file this case as she was the one who was harrased and would have eventually won. Also, she now hardly has anything to lose.
