The unfairness of hierarchy

Watched a clip today where Rubina was very logically explaining her point about a pair of shoes being a single item and highhanded Madam Hina just went " whatever" and the other housemates went after Rubina and it was interesting to see the caste system of seniors and juniors in BB.

The seniors seem like unfair bullies drunk on their power and making wily- nily decisions based on their whims and expecting total slavishness.

The juniors are fascinating too and in how some of them have decided to go the path of complete sycophancy and when some of them try and speak against the seniors, the cowed and subjugated juniors are annoyed at the person speaking for them.

This is an artificial and hopefully temporary demarcation yet it is interesting to see how all of them have internalised it in such a short period.

The seniors are suffering from God Complex. Just because they aren't a part of the show and they are there to create rift amongst contestants, they have lost all sense of logic and they are just doing whatever they feel like doing like contradicting their own statements, making illogical rules. And then they proceed to act Mahaan and Just. Idk if its entertaining for others but I find it obnoxious.

Most of the Freshers are busy bootlicking the seniors because of the whole 'seniors are in charge of everything' system of this year's game. They will never go against them until they realize they look like spineless Nallas. Because of this, there's been barely any friendship (or anything close to) amongst the Freshers. Instead there's a constant battle on whos a better Shukli.

The format of the game has to take half of the blame though. One more week to go. 😭

The seniors are living in an illusional dimension 😆 their opinions dont make sense to me! and why do they have so much problems with rubina?! all three of them!! 🙄

Totally agree to finding the whole thing obnoxious.

Shukla, of course is the poster boy for "my way or the highway" approach to consensus building😆 and the yeah it's cringe to the power of infinity watching these folks lose even the pretence of dignity trying to suck up to that man.

Not watching the show but the little I have seen ,I am liking Rubina ,she is opinionated but does not seem rude or crass in expressing her opinions.

As for the seniors ,Shukla gained fame by being a crass bully so why should he change what worked for him and Hina who had managed to whitewash her image post BB, came back to remind us why she needed the whitewashing in the first place.

These guys have fallen into a 'routine' and don't wanna change anything , that's why they jumped on Rubina instead of understanding that whole thing could've benefited them 🤦

That is the really interesting part- this easy acceptance of their status as inferior to the seniors.

I wonder if they would be this accepting if the seniors were going to stay for longer.

I agree they themselves are not strong contestants. If they have watched previous BB seasons they will know the show will do anything to keep the contestants that provide content but they are acting literally like they’re in some school contest and the teachers will mark them. This shows that many of them have not watched previous seasons and have no clue of how the show works.

The contestants that have watched the show seem to be only Nikki and Rubina. Rest of them are in lala land and just sitting on sidelines. I mean in any torture task every season no matter how bad every contestant has gone all out to prove themselves. Whether we hate the task or not it’s become pivotal since BB8 in highlighting contestants and they all gave up a golden opportunity.

It was abysmal how Hina was asking the contestants aren’t you going to go and try to make them get up off the bulldozer and they all were sitting on chairs, absolutely useless.

I couldn’t agree more! This seniors concept is such obnoxious bullshit, and they’ve really found the perfect people for the job - led by the poster boy himself.

The freshers’ easy acceptance of it irks me as well - I’d much prefer to see them putting these so called seniors in their place - but I blame a lot of that on the concept itself, and because they seem to believe it’s temporary (which I truly hope it is!).

It was so unfair to disqualify Abhi... Its like they were looking for an excuse to kick him out ...and the way they are praising Nikki is a bit over the top ...

I expected Gauhar to be neutral atleast by looking at the way she preaches outside ...but she is as bad as Hina and Sid...its true she was helping Nikki ...but they all refused to help Rubina when she was asking really politely

Are these people threatened by Rubina because she is a competition in the outside world? So they are putting her down

Hina seems to be sucking up to Sid alot ...she was going to give Abhi a chance but as soon as Sid said he is disqualified...Hina changed too
