Such a dragfest. The serial is becoming over the top.... Ani lighting camphor on his palm and taking an oath to bring Bon back..... ITV ki typical bahu ki tarah... Bon going to Calcutta to meet Gandhiji... Logic hi nahi hai
I like how Rasiya blasted Ani but logically it's not possible. A prostitute pointing fingers at a zamindar in that era. Everybody just lets her speak. Conveniently makers switch between the pre independence era and modern era when it comes the female storyline.
I wish they had progressive thinking woman but had boundaries w. r. t their status and rights and made their actors perform within the boundaries and show them struggling to voice out.
Though Ani is my favorite character, his impulsiveness is difficult to digest. Marrying Bon and altering the life of all RC's and Mini, throwing bon without giving a chance to explain, leaving an engagement on the eve...... I don't like Mini but I don't like Ani's behavior too.
I wish makers had shown a different drama where Mini was getting married to someone else and Anirudh coming to terms with it and accepting Bon whole heartedly. An internal conflict, jealousy, guilt and finally acceptance. Both Ani Mini wouldn't have lost their respect.
