Now as we stand on the 6th episode post leap, the one thing I have noticed and which is clearly amiss is the depth of hurt.
Maybe, it's too early for me to say that, but for a precise series, 6 wholesome episodes are enough to at least give signs of the basic points they have developed the hurt and hatred of the two leads.
We, are all- guessing.
Whenever they go to a trance, there are no real emotions being portrayed. They don't stay in the present, they don't think of the future, what they do is to ponder over every damn flashback. Every good memory joined with the last bad one. Fine! It can work for two episodes, where they needed to set up their job background. But then?
So, I will be listing a few things, I would like to see the story build on. Honestly, I can't argue on who is more hurt and who is less, because they never showed us anything. So to balance both the sides with equal genuinity, I wish they show this somewhere or the other-
Captain Doctor Suman Tiwari/ Her Father's favorite Cadet/ Devraj's best friend's idol daughter/ Class topper/ Shravan's sweetheart-
Okay, her hurt can be calculated by listing all the people she has lost, abruptly-in seconds. Plus her uncordial relations with the leftover members of the family makes her the most vulnerable at the first glance.
What we all need to know that she was in a habit of being a bit mechanical, but practical. She very well knew about every emotion, and she had a list of not dwelling on wrong things at the wrong time.
But now her hurt accounts for-
1.Her father's dubious death. (it's obvious there was something off with the vest deal. It is being indicated for a long time that there is something wrong going on in the Malhotra industries, maybe not Devraj directly but his co-workers.)
2. She being delusional as a teenager. ( Think of meeting the man of your dreams when you were 18 and trying to run away with him against your family- you will most probably laugh. But when it happens for real, you are guilty. And when it happens with some family tragedy- you will be hurt. Rather, you may even forget all the love and promises you had for him- at least for some time. )
We all may, debate on point number 2. But its a universal truth, that anything associated with a bad event/tragedy makes us run away from it because it is going to refresh all those things we won't like to come across with again.
Now what I think could be added-
3. Because she thinks that Devraj is the real culprit- her efforts of making Vijay and Devraj friends might also hurt.
4. Believing and loving the man who was rebuked by all of her family (which is particularly dead now-all of them) would make her feel guilty.
5. She thinking that somewhere she had broken Shravan's heart. Shravan was fine with her not loving him, but somewhere she too reciprocated his attempts. So now, for starting all this, for taking him with her- she is guilty. -This feeling could surface when they again become friends. This feeling may pull her back from pursuing any romantic interest with him again until the case's verdict makes things clear.-
------------------
Captain Shravan Malhotra/ Vijay's best male cadet/ Devraj's now pride and then pampered son/ Class's surprise/ Suman's only love-
1. Accusing his father abruptly, and then socially murdering his respect.
2. Suman's words. She instantly debunked him. She could have cried with him, could have let him be her support. Rather she threw him away, plus all the other family members were openly slapping him and abusing him on the face. (Now people will come up with the fact that they all kinda were suffering from a major death, but let me tell you that this plot was being built up for long. Both their families were on loggerheads. They were constantly teaching their children how bad the other is and you shouldn't meet. But with Suman's final words, all the teaching of them being wrong, all the past incidences came up in front of Shravan and he too accepted the fact that his father was right, and these people are not worth help or trust.)
Now, what could be added-
( hurt can arise from guilt as well)
3. Disappointing his father, when he was ready to do anything for him. He too wanted to make his parents proud. Doing all that to his parents on the same day, when the society was abusing them instantly after a certain tragedy- might have hurt him in the long run.
4. Somewhere, it hurts to think that the man- Col. Vijay Tiwari, who pushed him to be the Army Officer he is today, died. He loved his Vijay Uncle. And then there was a conflict- a major one. So the whole goodwill to become a good cadet because he loved Vijay Uncle and his daughter was converted into heated anger to prove his dad's innocence.
5. I wrote this in my story as well- with so many bad things linked up to him, he might feel responsible for it somewhere. It affects the behavior, the mindset majorly, when you grow up in such a situation. he seems cold, and maybe he is afraid to open up or hang around the way he used to. He is no more naive, rather he tries and maintains distance- that unintentionally he might hurt someone. - This can be so good, once the reconciliation starts. Because this thing can only be sorted by Suman Tiwari and no one else-

Thanks for listening to my views. More than the debate of who is hurt and who isn't let us think of better reasons that can balance both the side.
Would love to hear from you!
I am actually writing ----FADED-A SuVan Story---- and I kinda tried stating all the things I thought necessary to fill up the depth of their hurt.
thanks again!
