There's has always been something so intriguing and invigorating about seeing Abir and Kunal at loggerheads. But this time it just doesn't feel right, doesn't have that oomph.

Because deep down you truly know and feel they genuinely love each other from their hearts. And Kunal has put that bond on the edge multiple times, but with no ill-intention.

Kunal definitely has done some horrible things, which have directly and indirectly hurt Abir. But his love for Abir has been always pure, but unfortunately just misguided and wrong direction. In the end when he is made to realise his mistake he puts 200% effort to make it right and support Abir.

Each time we are made to think, 'ah ok, Kunal ko kuch akkal aagay, and is taking the right steps', but then soon enough the writers make him take 5 steps back. And this time it just feels even worse than Kunal 1.0.

At least pre-leap Kunal, was clear and upfront about why he despised Mishti and was against mishbir relationship. It was clearly his ego + BB's emotional manipulation. But this time, even after abir's calm explanation about his stance against surrogacy and why Kuhu shouldn't be doing so...Kunal agreed for about half a day and then completely flipped? How?

Kunal being concerned and worried for his pregnant wife is completely justified, but not seeing how much effort and care both mishti n abir are putting in taking care of Kuhu for their baby, but also insulting their parenting skills already!? THIS is not the KUNAL nor the Nanko we've ever known.
